Awakening: Poseidon's Heir Is Not on Our Chart. What Fits

The search demand is there. The chart entry is not. A skeptical look at what a rank and a completion figure can tell you, and what they cannot.

Awakening: Poseidon's Heir does not appear in our weekly chart for 2026-W43, revision 1. That is the only thing the data says about it. The related searches we can see cluster around a second part and around where to watch, which tells us people are looking. It does not tell us the title would rank. Our chart covers our own audience only, not the whole market, and this week it has ten entries, every one of them new.

Why Awakening: Poseidon's Heir Is Missing From the 2026-W43 Chart

The method is narrow. Score equals viewers multiplied by (0.5 plus 0.5 times completion). A title needs 30 or more viewers in our panel to rank at all. Viewers are rounded. That is the whole rule set we publish.

So an absence has two possible readings. Either the title drew fewer than 30 viewers among our audience, or it was not in our sample. Neither reading is a judgement on quality, pacing or writing. Plenty of titles that people search for never turn up here because our panel is small and specific. Treat the missing entry as a gap in our coverage, not as a verdict.

One more caveat. All ten entries carry a change status of new and one week on the chart. When every row is new, there is no persistence to read. A single week with no repeats cannot show whether interest holds or fades after the free episodes run out.

What Rank 1 to Rank 10 Actually Measures

Viewers do most of the work. The completion factor only moves between 0.5 and 1.0, so it can never more than halve or fully preserve a title's viewer total. The Mafia Heir sits at rank 1 with 1,210 rounded viewers and 57 percent completion, a multiplier of roughly 0.79, for a score near 950. Infinity Stars sits at rank 10 with 60 viewers and 69 percent completion, near 51. The 1,150-viewer gap explains almost all of that distance.

Completion matters at the margins, and the margins are worth reading closely. Rank 7, Rekindled Heartache, has 90 viewers and 66 percent completion, a score near 75. Rank 8, Faking as My Brother: My Hockey Roommate's Dirty Desire, has 110 viewers and 37 percent completion, also near 75. Twenty extra viewers against a 29-point completion deficit produced a near-tie. That is what completion is here: a tiebreaker, not a verdict.

What Completion Cannot Tell You

The denominator changes what the number means. Summer Troubles (Movie) lists 9 episodes and 75 percent completion at rank 4. Infinity Stars lists 412 episodes and 69 percent at rank 10. Both figures are high. Finishing nine episodes and finishing four hundred are not the same act of endurance, and the chart gives the two numbers the same shape.

Small bases produce unstable percentages. Rekindled Heartache shows 66 percent on 90 viewers across 1,016 episodes. A handful of viewers moving in or out can shift a figure like that by several points. Compare it to The Mafia Heir at 57 percent on 1,210 viewers, where the same handful barely registers.

Free-episode data is missing for four titles this week: My Online Girlfriend Is a CEO, Summer Troubles (Movie), Faking as My Brother, and Last Witch Of Swendel. Where the runway is unknown, you cannot compare commitment between titles on paper. The six that do list a figure all show 20.

How to Judge Awakening: Poseidon's Heir in Its Free Episodes

We have no episode count and no free-episode figure for this title in our data, so the checklist below is about shape rather than a specific run. Apply it when you open the first free episodes.

  1. Count the free episodes before you start. Twenty out of 52 and twenty out of 1,184 are different offers, even though the number matches.
  2. Note the total episode count. It is the honest measure of what the title eventually asks of you.
  3. Check whether the last free episode leaves you willing to pay the same patience the first one did.
  4. Ignore the rank you saw somewhere. Compare viewer totals and completion together, and only for titles of similar length.
  5. Treat part 2 searches as demand, not proof. People searching for a continuation are not the same as people finishing what exists.

Chart Titles That Fit the Same Slot

Matching on title shape and format, not on story, these are the closest things in this week's ten.

  • The Mafia Heir: 1,184 episodes, 20 free, 57 percent completion, 1,210 viewers. The heaviest commitment on the chart by episode count.
  • Reborn to Win: animated, 500 episodes, 20 free, 50 percent completion, 280 viewers. A rebirth premise with a long runway.
  • Last Witch Of Swendel: 570 episodes, 43 percent completion, 90 viewers, no free-episode figure listed. The mythic end of the chart.
  • Infinity Stars: animated, 412 episodes, 20 free, 69 percent completion, 60 viewers. Highest completion among the long runs here.
  • Guardian to Groom: 52 episodes, 20 free, 58 percent completion, 120 viewers. The shortest live-action entry with a listed free block.

If you are weighing Awakening: Poseidon's Heir against these, the useful comparison is episodes and free runway, not rank. The chart cannot tell you whether it is any good. It can tell you that our audience did not surface it this week, and that the titles which did surface mostly ask for hundreds of episodes and give you 20 free to decide.
